I have Windows 95 installed on a computer and I also have a CD of Windows 98 (not an upgrade, it came with a laptop I had that has since died). I would like to upgrade the 95 OS with this Windows 98 CD. Question is: Can I use this full version of 98 to do this without reformatting or would I need a Windows 98

Though you can do 1080P through component cables, so it's not necessary to upgrade your 360 just for the HDMI output to get 1080P res. My TV won't support 1080p over component. It requires you to use HDMI for that. If his TV does support 1080 over component, then yes he doesn't need a new console.

Does that mean I have to uninstall the evaluation copy of XP back to win98 and then install the final upgrade version of winXP pro or do I have to leave my backup copy files of win98 on my computer until I upgrade to final winXP? Sorry to be so verbose with this question but hope I made it clear.
